Great Lakes Hemophilia Foundation - Who We Are

In 1974, a group of family members and dedicated individuals came together to create a support network specifically for people diagnosed with and affected by hemophilia.

Now, Great Lakes Hemophilia Foundation (GLHF) is a statewide organization, serving individuals and families with hemophilia, von Willebrand disease and other lesser known bleeding disorders across Wisconsin.

GLHF programming is designed to increase public awareness, promote early identification, ensure access to needed services, educate and support families, and fund research to improve care and find a cure.

Here to Help – Why volunteers make all the difference

Volunteers make Milwaukee and Madison’s Best Bloody run effectively and efficiently year after year. We literally could not do this event without the help of dedicated volunteers.

At these specific events there are several areas we are always in need of volunteers to help with. Beit getting attendees registered and in the door smoothly, assisting our local bars and make sure they are well-supplied, or helping bring in more donated funds through our raffle, PLINKO game, or our fabulous envelope wall. You will also help with the VIP room to keep our special guests happier than ever. These volunteers are crucial in the hustle and bustle to make this event a success!

We are very excited to announce Ledgerfest 2019! This signature fundraising event for St. Mary’s Springs Academy is scheduled for Saturday, March 9, 2019 at The Holiday Inn Fond du Lac Conference Center. This year’s theme is “Calling All Heroes”. This whimsical theme promises to provide an exciting, casual atmosphere where supporters of SMSA will come together and celebrate being “Unleashed by Faith”. The evening includes a sit down dinner, live and silent auction, raffle, music and more.
This is a major fundraising event for St. Mary’s Springs and all proceeds support the SMSA Fund which offsets one third of the system’s operating budget. We value our partnerships with business and industry, alumni, and friends of SMSA who support our mission of providing an enriching, outstanding, Catholic education to over 850 students each year (and growing).
Ledgerfest can only be made possible through the efforts of energetic volunteers and the kind generosity of our community partners and school families. We would love you to be part of this special evening of fundraising for St. Mary’s Springs Academy by donating your time and talents. Thank you.

Babies of Homelessness mobilizes the community to deliver essential items to babies, toddlers and young children living in homeless encampments, in their cars/RVs and shelters. Our goal is to shed light on an issue that is too often hidden from the public’s view.

We are a 501c3 nonprofit who has not yet received funding. We need fundraisers to assist us with the process of obtaining funding from various sources. With the exception of a part-time bookkeeper and Executive Director, our program is volunteer funded.

You would organize activities to raise funds or otherwise solicit and gather monetary donations or other gifts for an organization. May design and produce promotional materials. May also raise awareness of the organization's work, goals, and financial needs.

The goal of AFC Soccer is to make soccer fun and affordable for all families and players. We rely on the generosity of our local businesses to assist us so that no boy/girl will be left out of playing because it cannot reasonably priced. This event is our first and we want to make a splash to our community to show just how much we are linked to them. Chipotle will donate 33% of the sales generated between 4pm and 8pm on 12/9. Our families are promoting for the next month but we will need assistance on the day of the event handing out flyers to promote the event and selling raffles for our prizes.
