Next Generation Nations (https://ngn.org/) mission is to educate and engage the next generation leaders in solving global issues. High school students charter "Club NGN" in their schools and participate in competitive events:1) STEM to Solve Global Issues
2) Good governance and policies to Solve Global Issues
We need ambassadors who can help us in following activities:
1) Become a judge in competitive events. We follow Guy Kawasaki business model where students are asked to launch a startup company with purpose to solve global issues.
2) Become a mentor for students require project ideas.
3) Every month, meetup, discuss and implement community service programs and invite high school students in your activities.
4) Sponsor and support competitive events

Job DescriptionTitle: Speakers Bureau Volunteer
Reports To: Janet Smith, Development Director
Purpose: Speakers Bureau Volunteers will help spread the message of the important work of Trusted World and our impact in the community.
Responsibilities
• Attend Speakers Bureau Training
• Represent Trusted World at a variety of community events by verbally presenting facts about Trusted World’s mission.
• Attend check presentations and publicly thank supporters and donors. Explain how their support is helping change the way nonprofits work in our local community.
• Maintain an understanding of the history, mission, and impact of Trusted World.
• Complete a brief evaluation following speaking engagements.
• Have fun and help spread the word about how Trusted World is changing the way nonprofits work in North Texas and around the world.
Qualifications
• Comfortable speaking in front of groups of people
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Willingness to learn how Trusted World operates
• Timely and dependable
• Possess reliable transportation
• Available to attend events during the weekday, evening, or weekends
• Positive, team-oriented attitude
• Belief in the importance of the mission of Trusted World
Time Commitment: Speakers Bureau volunteers are expected to commit to a minimum of two speaking engagements per year, as opportunities are available.
Volunteer Training: Training will be provided to all interested volunteers. Speakers Bureau training will be offered four times a year. July -Sept-Jan-March

We're looking for volunteers to welcome visitors and students into our exciting school. Main obligations are to greet guests and answer the phone, check out customers of our shop, give tours of our intimate space, and answer questions. During quiet periods there will be a variety of interesting tasks. Depending on your area of interest, you may work with our colorful materials, cutting fabric and winding thread for our class kits. Or you may could with office-related tasks such as data entry for our library, assisting with mailings, or making labels and helping with our rotating needlework exhibits.Located on Union Square, this is an opportunity to work with a nonprofit that supports and teaches many techniques of hand embroidery. After a certain number of hours, various volunteer benefits are available. No stitching experience required, however stitching on site is optional and encouraged.

Community Action Agency of St. Louis County is back at it again with one of our top-notch employment and resource fairs!We have been missing our Kohl's volunteers and are eager to have you all help us out to bring jobs and much needed services to our neighbors and fellow community members!
The job fair last year had over 1,300 applicants in attendance so we are hoping at least five of Kohl's staff would be willing to come out, have a good time, interact with the community and give back!
