Help coordinate, schedule, and bring in new volunteers (including screening).A large animal rescue requires physical work on the farm as well as administrative work and leadership. By supporting Cowgirl Spirit Rescue Ranch in this role you allow the organizational leaders to focus on the horse rehab, training and rehoming so we can better meet our goals.
You can do this role remotely, using Zoom and/or email and Facebook so if you have energy, are organized and care about helping this is for you. Co-leaders welcome, it’s always fun to share the work!

Volunteers serve remotely as BPAs. BPAs help participants produce sound business plans. BPAs are assigned a program participant, and over a four-month advising process, spend 1-2 hours/wk editing their business plans for both content and grammar. Communication between BPAs and participants will be handled by PEP staff members.Skills or Experience
Some ability to read, edit, and correct grammar, spelling, style, and structure will be helpful. General and broad business or consumer knowledge will also be important although we will try to match participants with advisors who have knowledge in their industry of interest.

Volunteers serve an important role at our in-prison events. These events include Think Tank, Venture Capital, Panels, Excellence in Etiquette, Business Plan Workshop, Pitch Day, Mock Interviews, Business Plan Competition and Graduation. Some also join us outside of events as instructors in our daily classes.Skills or Experience Required
Although not required, general business or entrepreneurship knowledge is preferred. Strategic Planning, Ideation and Operations/Logistics are also great skills and experience to bring to the table. The most important aspect is a willing and open heart to engage with our men and women.

The clinic is donated to the Foundation for use of 4 operatories, digital pano, CT, cone beam for patients experiencing dental emergencies. Hygiene clinics will begin soon.
