About This Cause
We are a Foundation dedicated to promoting the rights of childhood in the context of psychosocial vulnerability, favoring children's well-being and family strengthening. Through our social programs, we support 500 families living in the neighborhoods of Buenos Aires City. Our programs: 1) Early Childhood Centers "Floreciendo" and "Pilarcitos" The Early Childhood Centers (ECC) promote the comprehensive development of children aged 1 to 3 in situations of psychosocial vulnerability through socio-educational initiatives and family strengthening. In the "Floreciendo" Early Childhood Center, we welcome 150 children from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm, residing in the neighborhoods of Padre Rodolfo Ricciardelli (formerly 1-11-14), Rivadavia I and II, and nearby areas. In the "Pilarcitos" Early Childhood Center, we receive 75 children, living in the neighborhoods of Barracas, Zavaleta, Nueva Pompeya, and surrounding areas. 2) Timely Care for Early Childhood within the Family as a Community (COPIF) COPIF promotes the integral health of children in situations of psychosocial vulnerability from gestation to 5 years old, through family strengthening, parenting support, play, and comprehensive nutrition. In our Community Center COPIF in Barracas, we welcome 80 children along with their adult caregivers. 3) Academic Support Academic Support is a program dedicated to accompanying the school development of children and young people in primary and secondary school. We work in two Community Centers in the neighborhood of Barracas with over 30 students each, ranging in age from 6 up to 18 years old, 4) "Haciendo Lupa" (Focusing on Education) "Haciendo Lupa" is a program that promotes pre-literacy skills in children aged 2 to 8 in situations of psychosocial vulnerability. We conduct workshops with over 40 boys and girls in various community organizations in the neighborhoods of Padre Rodolfo Ricciardelli (formerly 1-11-14), Rivadavia I and II, Zavaleta , Nueva Pompeya, and surrounding areas. 5)Social Economy Program Social Economy Program promotes the socio-labor inclusion of women living in situations of psychosocial vulnerability. We provide employability skills training for 40 mothers of children in early childhood: Seamstress skills, digital skills, and socio-emotional skills.
