Mission Statement
Riding for the Disabled Association (NSW) Tall Timbers Centre provides equine assisted activities and life skills programs for people with disabilities. Horse riding has many benefits including improved self-esteem, increased muscle development, improved behaviour and an activity which provides great enjoyment.
About This Cause
Riding for the Disabled Association (NSW) Tall Timbers Centre provides equine assisted activities and life skills programs for people with disabilities. Our Programs include group and individual riding programs, ground based horsemanship programs and mental health and well being programs. Our Centre operates 6 days per week and has a dedicated team of volunteers who assist with the day to day running of the programs and caters for the needs of people with disability. Our programs are developed and conducted by trained and qualified RDA (NSW) coaches and are tailored to suit the individual needs of each rider/participant focusing on physical, educational, recreational and emotional benefits.
