About This Cause
Oaktree Australia's largest youth-led anti-poverty organisation. For us, change starts with a simple belief - that extreme poverty is unacceptable. Beliefs turn into action, and enough informed action will end extreme poverty in our lifetime. We believe education is the most powerful tool we have in the fight against poverty. That’s why we partner with carefully chosen organisations in the Asia-Pacific who are transforming the education systems in their countries so that young people can realise their right to education. We work in partnership with carefully chosen local organisations in Cambodia, Timor-Leste and Papua New Guinea, funding education programs they deliver in their countries. Our partners support young people to break the poverty cycle.
