Children's Cancer Institute's ambition is to put an end to childhood cancer and pioneer safer treatments for children through medical research. We can and we will cure childhood cancer. It's not if. It's when.
About This Cause
Sixty years ago, cancer was nearly a virtual death sentence for a child. Today, more than 8 in 10 children with cancer survive. That's the power of medical research. With three children still dying every week from cancer in Australia, there is still more work to be done. But with the brightest brains, cutting-edge facilities and the greatest determination, we will get the job done. Children's Cancer Institute is the only independent medical research institute in Australia wholly dedicated to cure childhood cancer. We can and we will cure childhood cancer. It’s not if. It’s when.
