About This Cause
The Infants’ Home is a registered charity and provides award winning integrated early childhood education, family day care, early intervention and clinical services for children (aged from birth to school age) and their families. Thirty percent of our on-site services are targeted to support children and families living with vulnerabilities or who have additional needs. Our mission is to give each child every opportunity to develop their abilities to meet life’s challenges and opportunities to fulfil their unique potential, regardless of background or circumstance. Since 1874 The Infants’ Home has been a dynamic and innovative organisation, championing the rights of children, women and families, protecting those at risk, and guiding families as they build their strength, skills and confidence to create a more positive future for themselves. Today The Infants’ Home comprises five integrated long day childcare centres on site in Ashfield together with a community preschool. We also provide Family Day Care servicing the greater Sydney region, as well as a range of family support services which include community playgroups, an integrated Allied health team and post-natal services.
