About the organization We are a non-profit organization (NGO), responsible for officially bringing and publicizing mobile football in Brazil, focusing on the practice of football aimed at the public over 60 years old, which is practiced during the walk. We operate in the following areas: Sports, Education and Culture, inspired by the co-creation of solutions and experiences for longevity capable of providing a positive impact for an active and full life and contributing to the physical and emotional well-being of people over 60 years of experience. age. and strengthening intergenerational ties. Walking Football Brasil (WFB) was created to act in an inclusive and diversified way, connecting important social actors in the longevity ecosystem, promoting the democratization of sport and its contribution to the well-being and positive social transformation of those over 60 years old. We were created with the support of Machado Meyer Advogados, one of the most important law firms in the country in 2019. We have important partnerships for the dissemination of sport in several organizations that work with the long-lived population, we are technical partners of the Football Museum in projects educational, In addition to practicing sports, we have the vision of strengthening research on topics that boost the quality of life of the elderly, creating indicators that become a reference in the subject, in addition, of course, to officially publicizing the sport in Brazil, throughout the 05 regions of the world. . country. We are currently part of REMS - Rede Esporte por Change Social, we are part of the first sports business hub in Brazil, Arena HUB, we are accelerated by the VOA Ambev social impact program and we receive awards such as: Human Rights and Diversity Seal from the City of São Paulo , in the Elderly People category in the initiative of mature people in sport in the years 2020 and 2021 in a row. In 2021, we approved projects in the Sports Incentive Law, in the process of raising funds, to expand 09 WFB Centers, in 04 Brazilian cities, with sponsoring and supporting companies such as: Machado Meyer Advogados, Arteris, Center Norte and Ambev. We are guided by the Sustainable Development Goals (UN) agendas and in synergy with Active Aging (WHO). We are partners of universities in 03 Brazilian states. Walking Football Brasil – Network – which makes it possible to take the walking football modality to various organizations in the country, promoting the practice for the physical and emotional well-being of the elderly; 2. Cities 60+ WFB – project that enables the implementation of the modality in different cities and territories, creating social dialogue for the development of inclusive practices, socialization and projects of mobilization and community engagement in synergy with the agenda of Elderly Friendly Cities and others elderly care policies; 4. Movimenta.me - Born in times of social isolation due to the pandemic, to bring physical exercises and positive experiences to the elderly in their homes, through audiovisual content and virtual dialogues promoting well-being and quality of life, reducing the feeling of loneliness.
