About This Cause
WWF is working in Bulgaria since 2006. For the last 20 years we have been dedicated to the conservation of Bulgaria’s forests, rivers, and protected areas. We work to protect iconic species like the brown bear and Danube sturgeons, tackle climate change and monitor for violations of environmental legislation. We engage Bulgarian youth in educational initiatives related to environmental protection. We collaborate with other environmental organizations, institutions, as well as corporates and individuals, media, schools, and universities. Together with all our supporters we are working toward a future when humans and nature thrive. A future of well-being and hope. For nature and for us.
