About This Cause
For over 100 years, Brantwood Community Services has been providing supports and services to transitional age youth and adults with developmental disabilities throughout Brantford-Brant through The Abilities Centre Community Hub, thirteen (13) Residential locations, Supported Independent Living, Respite and the Abilities Centre. Brantwood employs over two hundred and twenty (220) professionals with extensive training in a variety of disciplines including developmental services, recreation therapy, kinesiology, personal support, and person centered thinking who serve people with developmental disabilities to develop connections, set and achieve educational goals, work and volunteer and to be recognized as full citizens in an inclusive community. Brantwood Community Services is also recognized as a two-time National Non-Profit Employer of Choice Award winner, achieving a three (3) year International Accreditation through CARF (2020) and in 2022, Diversity and Inclusion Business Excellence Award Winner.
