Mission Statement
Burnaby Hospital Foundation is the fundraising organization supporting Burnaby Hospital. Our purpose is to ensure that our aging community hospital is prepared to enhance the health of all generations. Burnaby Hospital Foundation is dedicated developing community partnerships to purchase vital medical equipment and technology, improve patient care, and support innovative and educational community programs that improve your health.
About This Cause
Burnaby Hospital Foundation needs your help to transform a beloved community hospital into a state-of-the-art facility that will meet the growing health care needs of Burnaby and surrounding neighbourhoods for generations to come. The multi-phase redevelopment of Burnaby Hospital will significantly expand the services available for patients, and expand the number of beds to a projected 397, an increase of almost 50 percent. When the redevelopment is complete, the hospital campus will also have two new patient care towers and a cancer treatment centre.
