We work to improve the lives of people in our Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge (HKPR) community, through leadership, collaboration, and the continual pursuit of excellence in community-based mental health and addictions services.
About This Cause
The Canadian Mental Health Association, Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge provides services to enhance the mental health of our communities.Programs include 24-hour crisis response; individual client support; justice services, support for individuals living with a developmental disability and mental health concerns, employment assistance; early psychosis intervention; and education including suicide prevention training. We believe Knowledge through education can break the stigma of mental illness; Hope is nurtured through programs and services and Belonging is fostered by an inclusive and supportive community.
