Mission Statement
To serve, in love, the social-spiritual needs of the neighborhood and the wider ethnic community of the city. Our quote from the Bible is from the book of Jeremiah 29:7 “But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.”
About This Cause
We are an ethnic Hungarian Presbyterian church with 90 years of history, with 51 years at our 439 Vaughan Rd., Toronto location. Next year we are moving to a new place in a new facility since we decided to transform our classical church setting type of ministry to a multi-functional Mission Center. Our goal is to bring the many different generations together to help them to build relationships and communications not only in a spiritual sense, but through music, dance and sports. We launched a three level fundraiser for the next 3 years: first level is 150 thousand for the move and to implement the place and environment at the new location, second level is 100 thousand to put in place the social, cultural, sport related and spiritual programs, and third level is 50 thousand for upgrading and improving the started programs and developing new ones.
