Mission Statement
The mission of the German-Canadian Benevolent Society is to provide quality care and support for seniors in British Columbia within the catchment area of the care home under its auspices.
About This Cause
The Society works in partnership with the staff of the German-Canadian Care Home, the health authorities and the wider community to offer a continuum of support services. We would like to be recognized as an innovative leader in complex care and are committed to high standards, ongoing improvement and the well-being of those we serve. We respect our organization’s history and reflect the traditions and cultural roots of the German-speaking community while welcoming and supporting a multicultural environment. The Society supports German-speaking seniors in the community through its outreach efforts. We strive to promote our culture and values through a vibrant, engaged Society membership. We foster open communication, progressive leadership, and team cohesiveness throughout the organization. We celebrate the commitment and dedication of our employees and volunteers and provide an environment for people to learn and grow.
