About This Cause
Life After Fifty (LAF) is a multi-service organization and registered charity which offers social, recreational, educational, and volunteer opportunities for adults 50 years and older. As of July 2023, we are operating as Life After Fifty (LAF), but remain incorporated as Centres for Seniors Windsor. Life After Fifty currently has over 800+ members, and over 150+ volunteers. We have 2 locations - on McEwan Avenue (West Side Centre) and on the first floor within the WFCU Centre on McHugh Street (East Side Centre). With a diverse range of programs and services, LAF empowers its members to stay active, engaged, and connected. From fitness classes and recreational activities to lifelong learning opportunities and social events, there’s something for everyone at LAF. Additionally, LAF caters to every aspect of life with frozen Meals 2 Go and community wellness services like the Home Maintenance Referral program, Telephone Assurance, and Friendly Visiting program. Our Foot Care Clinics, available to both members and non-members at both locations, prioritize foot health and care. Whether you’re looking to stay fit, make new friends, or explore new interests, LAF provides a welcoming and supportive environment where members can thrive and embrace the next chapter of their lives.
