About This Cause
Interval House of Hamilton supports women with or without children fleeing abuse / violence. Since our inception in 1986, it has been our continuous commitment to women and the community to provide a place of safety for women and children and to look for solutions to ending gender-based violence. We continue to be the only non-faith VAW shelter in Hamilton. Over the years we have expanded and extended our programs to meet significant requests for service, and now operate the Hamilton Women’s Centre, Jared’s Place, Flamborough Women’s Resource Centre, and the MentorAction Be More Than A Bystander program to end gender-based violence, in addition to the Hamilton shelter.
