About This Cause

For 38 years, Fondation Le Pilier's mission has been to improve the quality of life of disabled young people and adults living with an intellectual disability, a traumatic brain injury or other type of physical impairment, or an autism spectrum disorder, not to mention the benefits for their loved ones. Today, Fondation Le Pilier has over 200 employees dedicated to the well-being of people with disabilities, who work daily with 110 disabled people in its eight adapted living environments. Another 250 disabled people also benefit from its specialized respite services, alternating autism and youth housing, and adapted activities at the Marcelle and Jean Coutu Center in Laval.
