About This Cause
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC) is a voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancers. LLSC mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Since 1955 when it was first established, LLSC has funded hundreds of prominent researchers who have made significant progress in developing better, less invasive treatments in their quest to find permanent cures. Research has dramatically increased the survival rates of people stricken with blood-related cancers. LLSC also provides free information and support services to patients and caregivers.
