Our Mission Our mission is to contribute to the education of young people, through a value system based on the Scout Promise and Law, to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society. About Our Charity Established in 1974, the Chinook Scout Foundation supports Scouting activities in Calgary, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat and more than 100 other communities in southern and central Alberta by raising and managing funds that support financial assistance, community outreach, outdoor programs, volunteer recruitment and development
