Mission Statement
The Salvation Army Hamilton Booth Centre exists to share the love of Jesus Christ, meet human needs and be a transforming influence in Hamilton and surrounding areas.
About This Cause
The Salvation Army has units dedicated to special individual needs, addictions, family shelters, abused women, emergency shelters, halfway houses for correctional paroles, food banks, health clinics, and others. Hamilton Booth Centre is an emergency shelter for adult men over 18. We have 82 shelter beds. Within our shelter and our community, we deal with the most vulnerable population and do our utmost to provide "wrap-around supports". Our in-house programming includes our caseworkers, a Diversion program, our primary health clinic, and our Chaplin. Our Soup Van is in our community 7 nights a week. These programs are all dedicated to serving all who need assistance and help to move forward.
