Mission Statement

Founded in 1930, the Quebec Society for Disabled Children is a non profit organisation dedicated to defending the rights of children with disabilities, and to the promotion of integration and equal opportunities. The Society offers adapted services that enable disabled children to reach their full potential while responding to the special needs of their family.

About This Cause

The Quebec Society for Disabled Children’s programs include: an Early Childhood Stimulation Center, Occupation Therapy services, a Daycare service that favours integration, a respite residence, which caters to children with multiple disabilities, Camp Papillon, a vacation camp that hosts some 2,000 campers with all types of disabilities, Colonie Les Bosquets, a vacation camp for autistic campers located in the Montérégie area, Caravan Papillon, a mobile vacation camp for children with disabilities who live in remote areas. Day camps (2) for disabled and multi disabled children, Home Child Care and Accompaniment program for disabled children and adults, Carrefour Papillon, a referral and information program to guide parents in their quest for resources.
