With equity at its core, our mandate is to ensure that all students have access to the supports they need to fully participate in all educational opportunities and have equal opportunities for success.
About This Cause
Each school day for over 35 years, The Angel Foundation for Learning has been brightening the lives of students within the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB). Today, 40 per cent of our students live below the poverty line. Through essential nutritional, educational, social and emergency support programs, we work to give every student an equal opportunity to thrive. AFLToronto supports Student Nutrition Programs in schools, and through social work emergency funds and student equity funds the Foundation ensures that all students are able to participate in excursions and leadership opportunities, have access to healthy food in school or at home, have opportunities to win bursaries and awards to support their post-secondary aspirations, and helps families with the cost of school apparel, hearing aids, eye glasses, Epi-pens and dental services. , With your donations, we are helping students across the city see that when they are at their most vulnerable, an entire community is here to support them.
