Avenues empowers out-of-high school youth with diverse aspirations by accompanying them through the process of discovering and connecting with Montreal’s rich community resources, cultivating their autonomy, confidence, and well-being.
About This Cause
Avenues Montreal is a Montreal-based non-profit organization that helps out-of-high school youth explore opportunities and find their path using strength-based plans. Avenues empowers youth by accompanying them through the process of discovering and connecting with Montreal’s rich community resources, and cultivating their autonomy, confidence, and sense of belonging. Our programming is centered on addressing the unique dreams, values, and needs of each participant in the areas of well-being, education, and employment. At Avenues Montreal we believe that every youth deserves access to services centered on care and community. We are here to serve all youth, especially minority communities which includes English-speaking youth. Participation is voluntary and open to individuals aged 17 to 35, not actively enrolled in secondary school, and residing in Montreal or the greater Montreal area.
