Mission Statement

CSO Mission Statement The Orchestra is a volunteer musical organization dedicated to providing an opportunity for musicians of all ages and abilities to perform a wide repertoire of orchestral music and to serve as a platform for young aspiring soloists, choral groups and composers, both as a learning experience and for the enjoyment of its members, and also as a service to local charities and supportive audiences in Halifax and its region.

About This Cause

Community orchestra funded by dues paid annually by members. We serve the community by providing concerts to the public, and we give an annual fundraising concert to benefit local charities.
