About This Cause
The Church of the Resurrection is a lively community of people who are learning to follow Jesus, ask questions, and walk with each other. We are an Anglican church located in Toronto’s East End, and founded over 100 years ago by neighbours who had a big vision for this neighbourhood. Today, the Church of the Resurrection continues to experiment and grow, with a deep commitment to being a parish in the neighbourhood, for the neighbourhood, with the neighbourhood and of the neighbourhood. We believe God is deeply at work here, and we have a deep calling to join Him on the journey. Our worship is informal and rooted in Anglican traditions. We value preaching, biblical teaching for all ages, liturgical worship (with broad musical expressions) and prayer.
