About This Cause
The mission of Credit Valley Conservation Foundation (CVCF) is to raise funds and awareness in support of the conservation projects carried out by Credit Valley Conservation that protect the health and well-being of the flora and fauna, the watershed and its inhabitants for today and tomorrow. As emerging leaders in sustainable fund development, CVCF aspires to make a minimum annual contribution of $1 million dollars to Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) in support of its efforts in carrying out valuable conservation projects. Background Credit Valley Conservation Foundation is a registered environmental charity working to help protect and conserve the lands and waters of the Credit River Watershed. The Foundation accomplishes this by raising funds from private individuals and organizations to invest in the valuable conservation projects and initiatives of CVC. The Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of directors, comprised of environmentally-committed and prominent individuals that firmly believe that our personal health, economic well-being and quality of life are inextricably linked to the health of our natural environment. In 1964, CVC established the CVC Foundation to support its activities. Since then the Foundation has been assisting CVC with the daunting task of environmental protection.
