Mission Statement
The mission of MSC Canada is to encourage and support service for the Lord by assembly-commended workers, in compliance with scriptural guidelines, government legislation and agreements with other organisations with which MSC is associated. Service for the Lord may take the form of evangelism, church planting, teaching the Word of God ministering to human need and any support activities which contribute to these. The primary focus is on workers who are commended from Canadian assemblies to serve in other countries and who are not employees of other Canadian mission organisations.
About This Cause
Goals To challenge and encourage individuals to serve the Lord on a short or longer term basis. To channel financial support to qualified workers based on perceived needs and our dependence upon the Lord for direction. To promote interest and prayer support for missions on the part of individuals and assemblies. To represent Canadian workers in contacts with the governments of Canada and of other countries. To respond to emergencies and disasters by providing relief and rehabilitation aid in a timely manner. To provide facilities and services which contribute to the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of individuals who in turn will impact their community in social, economic and spiritual dimensions. To communicate with and assist assemblies on Scriptural guidelines, missions activities and related matters. To advise Canadian commended workers on matters that affect them (e.g. taxes, health coverage, legislation) and to provide counsel on personal matters and activities.
