Mission Statement
The North Bay Food Bank was founded in 1987 by Marty Martinello, Ted Hargreaves, Maurice McGuinty and Larry Klein.
About This Cause
The North Bay Food Bank has been serving area residents since 1987. Open three days a week, the food bank provides free groceries to people in need or in crisis. Clients are provided with approximately 5-7 days worth of groceries per month. The North Bay Food Bank serves approximately 1300 vulnerable people each month… 36% are children. It is operated by a staff of 2 and at least 15 volunteers who sort, stock the shelves, pack food hampers, and serve the clients each week.
