About This Cause
NYSC is a not-for-profit, charitable organization started in 1974 by a small group of seniors who wanted a place where they could play cards, have fun, and just hang out. From that humble beginning, NYSC has grown into a multi-site organization and expanded its services to meet the diverse and changing needs of the community it serves. It provides programs and services to help adults 55+ stay active and socially connected, while striving to enhance the lives of seniors who need assistance to live safely and independently in their homes. Our clients guide our commitment to care.
