Mission Statement
The mission of Halifax Sexual Health Centre is to improve and optimize the sexual, reproductive, and gender-affirming health of all members of our community, by providing high quality and caring services, and empowering clients to make healthy choices. Our vision is that all members of our community have full, equal, non-judgmental and safe access to sexual, reproductive, and gender-affirming health care and education.
About This Cause
The Halifax Sexual Health Centre (HSHC) is a primary-care level sexual, reproductive, and gender-affirming care clinic, staffed by dedicated, passionate, and informed physicians, registered nurses, social workers, and administrative staff. HSHC provides in-house free safer sex supplies, resources, and compassionately priced (and FREE!) prescription contraceptives. Our centre also staffs a sex educator/health promoter that offers comprehensive sexual education and professional development sessions.
