With that commitment comes a responsibility. Together we must ensure that the best proven medical technology is available to the people of the Sault now and into the future. Our ability to stay current is the key ingredient in our healthcare delivery. The Foundation is looking to broaden its support and optimize its role in quality patient-centred health care delivery. The following strategic areas of focus have been identified: Excellence in Care Gifts to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation allow the hospital to provide the tools to deliver care – minor equipment and leading-edge medical equipment needs and acquisition of the latest information technology. We want to be sure that the people of Sault Ste. Marie and area will always have access to proven advancements in healthcare. Excellence in Learning Sault Area Hospital has a growing team of health care professionals. Philanthropic investments to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation can help expand the knowledge and competency of these physicians, nurses and staff. This means that skilled and compassionate caregivers will always be available for those in need. Excellence in Collaboration Provide opportunities to collaborate with partners and to develop solutions towards chronic disease management. With sustainable funding, the hospital’s goal is to develop and strengthen partnerships to build community capacity for these services and to develop solutions.
