About This Cause
Rockway Mennonite Collegiate is located in Kitchener, Ontario in Waterloo Region, just one hour west of Toronto. Founded in 1945, wecurrently serve a diverse population of 284 students in grades 7-12. Rockway maintains a strong and supportive relationship with congregations in Mennonite Church Eastern Canada, a conference of 90 Mennonite congregations. About 40% of our students come from Mennonite congregations, while the balance represent a diversity of Christian denominations and other faiths, locally and internationally; our student body includes more than 60 international students from around the world. And we have over 4,000 Alumni. As an inspected and accredited independent school, Rockway uses the Ontario Ministry of Education Curriculum to offer a challenging and supportive environment for learning. The majority of Rockway's graduates are accepted into their post-secondary programs of choice in university and college. As an independent school, we rely almost exclusively on tuition fees and fundraising to fund the school.
