Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, S7L 6A4 Canada

Mission Statement

Create a more humane world by inspiring compassion, providing hope and advancing the welfare of animals and people.

About This Cause

As a registered charitable organization, the Saskatoon SPCA does not receive government funding and relies on the generosity of individual and corporate donors to raise necessary funds to provide shelter, care, nutrition, enrichment and love to thousands of abandoned, lost, homeless or neglected animals annually. In addition to raising awareness about responsible pet ownership, facilitating adoptions, providing behaviour training classes, an emergency pet food bank, offering opportunities to surrender a beloved pet when necessary and volunteer opportunities, the Saskatoon SPCA aims to be a leader in animal welfare, working for a compassionate society where all animals are respected and valued. For animals, a life where they are loved and cared for ensures they are free from distress and discomfort. For people, connecting with and caring for an animal creates healthier and happier homes. We like to say that we are at the centre of a happy community of people and their pets. It thrives because of the dedication of our people, the people we serve, and the animals we nurture together. Together with donors like you we can ensure that all animals who come through our doors receive the care they deserve and are matched with loving homes.
