Mission Statement
The Bill 7 Award Trust is a registered charitable trust that awards scholarships to gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans, two-spirited and queer students who are in financial need and studying at any post-secondary institution in Ontario to attain their first degree or diploma.
About This Cause
We provide multiple scholarships to 2SLGBTQI+ post-secondary students in Ontario based primarily on demonstrated financial need and pursuing their first degree. In recent years, we've awarded approximately 25 scholarships of $4,000 each. With your support, our goal is to be able to provide 30 scholarships of $5,000 each - there is still an incredible need for support by 2SLGBTQI+ students.
