United Way Halifax is a local, donor-funded impact organization. We change lives by providing funding, creating solutions, partnering with others, and advocating for change. Our goal is to bridge gaps for people who are experiencing poverty and marginalization, and we work together with donors, volunteers, and partners to achieve it. We believe everyone has a role to play in creating an inclusive, bright future for our community. When you donate to United Way Halifax's Community Fund you’re supporting 35 life-changing programs that help people across HRM who are experiencing poverty, homelessness, and social isolation. You donation provides safe shelter, nutritious meals, crucial connection, dignity, and opportunity to those who need it most.
