Mission Statement

To assist people in understanding the word and purposes of Jehovah God, to promote public religious worship, and to assist Jehovah's Witnesses in carrying out their religious objective of preaching the good news of God's Kingdom under Christ Jesus around the world by sponsoring religious ministry, producing audio-video materials for presentation to congregations, and constructing facilities used solely to advance the religion of Jehovah's Witnesses.

About This Cause

During the 2023 fiscal year Watch Tower Canada advanced the Christian religion practiced by Jehovah's Witnesses in Canada by: a) advancing public religious ministry and worship based on the Word of God that uplifts people mentally, morally, and physically; • In cooperation with the associated charity, JW Congregation Support, constructed and renovated places of worship known as Kingdom Halls used by Jehovah's Witnesses; b) printing, importing, distributing and exporting Bibles and Bible-based literature, producing Bible-based multimedia content, and translating the Bible-based message into various languages; • Printing 31,178,444 copies of The Watchtower magazine in 59 languages, 22,027,814 copies of Awake! magazine in 91 languages, and 117,716,913 Bible-based tracts in 109 languages which were distributed at no charge to congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses throughout Canada, the United States, the Caribbean, Guyana and to cooperating charitable corporations in 7 countries; • Producing 7 videos for presentation to congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses and to the general public on the website jw.org • Translating two First Nation languages and Quebec Sign language c) providing materials, supplies and other forms of support to victims of natural disasters or sudden catastrophes; • Hurricane Ian (Florida) – assisted 2,329 victims with necessities of life, rebuilt or repaired 14 places of worship, and repaired 416 private homes • Hurricane Fiona (Puerto Rico) – assisted 161 victims with necessities of life, rebuilt or repaired 2 places of worship, and repaired 55 private homes • Ferndale Earthquake (California) – rebuilt or repaired 1 place of worship, and repaired 7 private homes • Ukraine refugees – assisting 977 Ukraine refugees integrate into Canadian society, including assistance with locating and securing accommodation, work, education, and health benefits. d) providing for the needs of the World Wide Order of Special Full-Time Servants of Jehovah's Witnesses Supported the religious ministry of 1,156 members of the Worldwide Order of Special Full-Time Servants of Jehovah's Witnesses.
