Mission Statement
World Vision is an international relief, development and advocacy organization working to create lasting change in the lives of children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. Inspired by our Christian values, World Vision is dedicated to working with the world's most vulnerable people regardless of religion, race, ethnicity or gender.
About This Cause
We partner with children, families and their communities to reach their full potential by tackling the root causes of poverty and injustice. World Vision Canada is the largest international development and humanitarian assistance organization. We work in 59 countries around the world to bring real and lasting change in the areas of health, education, economic empowerment, food security, child protection, water and sanitation and emergency relief. We are accountable to the children, families and communities we support and adhere to the highest standards of financial accountability. In 2023 alone, we reached 16.5 million girls, boys and adults through our programs.
