Mission Statement

Since 1973, Wyndham House has worked to prevent, reduce and end youth homelessness in Guelph-Wellington.

About This Cause

Wyndham House offers a variety of programs that ensure complex youth aged 16-24 in Guelph/Wellington are allowed to make healthy decisions and bring greater stability to their lives by providing wrap-around support. Programs include: • The Youth Emergency Shelter is a 16-bed facility for youth experiencing a housing crisis who need immediate access to basic needs, critical services, and support. • Two Supportive Housing Programs providing a stable, supportive, longer-term housing option for youth so that they can focus on their path toward stability. Beyond a bed, residents are provided weekly dedicated Case Management, recreational opportunities and life-skills programming to ensure they thrive. • Concurrent Youth Hub offers youth a safe and welcoming space to access peer support, housing support, healthcare, harm reduction, service connections, clothing bank, make a phone call, or increase their food stability through our hamper program. It is a place where they can find comfort in a crisis or an ally to help navigate the world of social services.
