About This Cause

Donations to the Alberta SPCA are used to support the Alberta SPCA’s Animal Protection Services, Humane Education programs, and One Family Welfare programs. Alberta SPCA Peace Officers are highly trained and knowledgeable in understanding animal care requirements and identifying potential animals in distress. Our officers drive hundreds of thousands of kilometers each year, across our province, investigating thousands of concerns about animals. The Alberta SPCA’s education programs encourage Albertans young and old to show respect for animals, people and the environment—every living thing. Generous donations from members of the public help to make Alberta’s animals safer through these programs.
