Mission Statement
Jeunesse Lambda is a community organization created by and for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer and questioning (LGBTQ+) youth aged 14-30 years old. We organize evenings of discussions and activities which aim to make space for healthy socialization through the exploration of various topics of interest to our community, considering our multiple realities.
About This Cause
Jeunesse Lambda (sometimes Lambda Youth) is a community organization committed to uplifting LGBTQ+ youth, mostly in Montreal but sometimes across Quebec. Our mission is to provide a safe, welcoming space where young queer and trans people can connect, express themselves, and access essential resources. We offer a range of programs, including social events, educational workshops, and individual support and active listening, both in-person and online, all designed to promote well-being and foster a sense of belonging. We also offer services specific to the needs of trans youth, such as gender affirmation and transition support, gender gear inventory, affirmative haircuts, and a clothing exchange. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to empower youth, helping them navigate challenges and build resilience in a supportive environment.
