MISSION: Promoting public appreciation, understanding and stewardship of the ecology and culture of Yoho National Park
About This Cause
OBJECTIVES A. to support the national park mandate for the protection, preservation and Interpretation of natural and human history of Yoho National Park and surrounding areas; B. to encourage understanding and appreciation of natural and cultural heritage; C. to provide information about natural and human history; D. to encourage research into natural and human history; E. to raise revenue through sale of appropriate goods and services; F. to accept, hold and disburse funds received by donation or other means to meet the Objectives of the association; G. to cooperate with Parks Canada to meet common objectives, while maintaining an arm's Length relationship; H. to cooperate with businesses and other organizations to meet common objectives; I. to buy, sell, manage, lease, mortgage, dispose of or otherwise deal with the property of The association.
