Mission Statement
The Butters Foundation solicits donations for a range of projects directly affecting intellectually disabled & autistic people and their families in Quebec. We have been active since 1976 and have periodic major campaigns involving a series of projects.
About This Cause
The Butters Foundation was originally a partner with a public rehab center in our area of Southern Quebec. Over time, the public institution has vanished into the reorganised public health system and the foundation has assumed more general mandates. Currently it supports a variety of projects targeting respite for families living with disabled children of all ages and applied research projects which improve the quality of public services to disabled children & adults with special needs, mostly behavioral in nature.
