Mission Statement
To make a cultural contribution to the community through a non-profit, community-based amateur theatre organization. To accomplish this mandate by mounting and performing a play season so that reasonably priced and locally convenient, high quality legitimate theatre can be enjoyed by seniors, students and residents of the City of Markham and the Region of York. To extend the appeal of legitimate theatre to the area’s current demographic including new Canadians, younger families, and cultures where Canadian live theatre is a new or novel experience. To also promote interest and skills in theatre arts, and to instruct in and demonstrate the arts and skills of legitimate theatre. (Adopted by the Board of Directors 2008-2009 and subsequent Boards).
