Mission Statement
Our mission is to raise awareness and support for the needs of communities in the Philippines, while engaging in activities that foster pride in Filipino culture and identity.
About This Cause
Founded in 1985 to help in rebuilding after the Marcos dictatorship, Adhika focus on Organizing activities to increase awareness of Filipino-Canadian children and youth of their Filipino history, culture and heritage; and Networking and building relationships with Filipino-Canadian groups to raise support and awareness for development issues in the Philippines. This enables Adhika to Support small projects (e.g. breakfast programs), and non-profit groups that assist women and children's health and education.
