For over 31 years, Alberta Ecotrust Foundation has been a driving force in building a healthier environment for all Albertans. We bridge the private, public, and nonprofit sectors as a long-standing and critical source of funding, training and skill-building for Alberta’s environmental community. Your support helps remove barriers to climate resilience, protect ecosystems, and promote sustainable living across Alberta. By donating, you directly impact pressing environmental issues, from energy efficiency in low-income homes to advancing sustainable building practices, as seen in some programs and initiatives below. We focus on multi-solving—addressing multiple environmental and social challenges at once—ensuring that each donation not only supports climate action but also delivers co-benefits such as improved health, energy savings, and stronger communities Home Upgrades Program (HUP): Help us expand this vital program, providing free energy efficiency education and home upgrades to low-income families in Calgary, Edmonton, and Canmore. Your contribution could bring energy-saving windows, furnaces, and insulation to more homes, reducing energy costs and carbon footprints. Grant Programs: Fund cutting-edge climate and environmental initiatives across Alberta.
