OTTAWA, Ontario, K2A4E4 Canada

Mission Statement

Friends of Abandoned Pets mandate is to find permanent, caring homes for dogs and cats abandoned in the Ottawa area; prevent any further increase to the dog and cat overpopulation problem by spaying and neutering; prevent the spread of disease by testing, vaccinating and providing other necessary veterinary care; and promote responsible pet ownership.

About This Cause

Friends of Abandoned Pets is a registered charitable organization that officially came into being on April 1, 1992, with a view to helping abandoned, homeless cats and dogs. Since its inception, FOAP has assisted over 3,500 cats and dogs in the community. Our focus is currently geared towards those unadoptable cats and dogs in long-term foster homes as they age and develop health problems.
