About This Cause
We are a Coptic Orthodox Christian Church located in Brampton. We are part of the Coptic Orthodox Church which has its roots in Egypt. The Coptic Orthodox Church (also known as the Church of Alexandria in ancient times) is under the direction of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II. This church was founded by St. Mark the Apostle who came to Egypt to preach the good news of Jesus Christ not too long after Christ’s resurrection. We belong to the Diocese of Mississauga, Vancouver and Western Canada under the guidance of His Grace Bishop Mina.
