About This Cause
Veritas Catholic Books and Gifts was opened on October 4, 1994 in the Brewery Market on Lower Water Street. Since then it has undergone severalre-locations untilfinding the present location at 30 Farnham Gate Rd. for our main store. We also haveanother location in Truro whichcan be found in the old Chapel of Immaculate Conception Church. From the very beginning the Veritas Society was incorporated in Nova Scotia as a non-profit corporation. It was also registered as a charity with Revenue Canada which meansdonations to the Society are tax deductible. Veritas Catholic Books and Gifts is run entirely by generous volunteers under the protection and support of an elected Board of Directors.
