About This Cause
The Family Resource Centre of Charlotte County Inc. is a not-for-profit charitable organization sponsored by the Public Health Agency of Canada under the Community Action Program for Children(CAPC) and the Canadian Prenatal and Nutrition Program(CPNP). Participation at the FRC is voluntary and open to all families living in Charlotte County with children aged birth to six years of age, from diverse backgrounds and life circumstances. Family resource programs enhance children and family well-being by reducing isolation of parents with infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers, by providing information and resources that encourage healthy child development and positive parenting, and by being convenient access points to other community services. Programs are offered free of charge and assistance for transportation is provided when the need has been identified.
